  • I came here for an introductory dance lesson at The Dance Circle. My contact was Bianca. She was very helpful, knowledgeable, and reminded me of my appointment. Given that I was doing ballroom dancing, I was paired with her husband, Dan.

  • Dan and Bianca are wonderful, kind and very professional. For me is the perfect opportunity to take me out from work and learn not only how to dance but become a more genuine and honest person by being comfortable with my own body.

Honest answers

What people ask us
before they come in.

Do I need a partner?
No. Every lesson at The Dance Circle is one-on-one with your instructor, so you do not need to bring anyone. Couples are welcome to learn together if they prefer, but it is never required.
What if I've never danced before?
Most people who walk in haven't. The first lesson is built around finding your basic step at a pace that feels right, with no group pressure. By the end of an hour, almost everyone can do a basic move in at least one dance.
How long are lessons?
45 minutes. 40 minutes practicing and teaching different patterns or techniques, with 5 min review.
What should I wear?
Comfortable clothing you can move in. For shoes, anything with a smooth sole works better than rubber soles, which stick to the floor. If you have leather-soled shoes or dance shoes, bring those. If not, we can talk about what to look for once you've decided you want to keep dancing.
How many lessons until I can dance socially?
Studies say it takes 20 hours of deliberate practice to build a new skill. If you do it every day for 4 weeks you will see better results than if you do it in 20 weeks. We guarantee it will be fun, and you will enjoy the process more than the result.
Do you teach couples and singles?
Both. Singles get paired with the instructor. Couples can choose to alternate (each partner with the instructor) or to dance together with the instructor coaching. We adapt to what works for you.
Where is the studio?
3000 N. Federal Highway, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33306. Free parking on-site. We're easy to find and easy to get to from most of Broward and northern Miami-Dade.
How do I book my first lesson?
Send us a message through the form on this site, call us at (954) 466-4825, or message us on WhatsApp. We reply within 24 hours and find a time that works for your schedule.
